Keyla advised the NAACP on the legal implications of the organization’s programs, drafted contracts and waivers, assisted with voter suppression issues, and helped secure legal representation for NAACP members. Her commitment to helping people also lead her to join the Wilkie D. Keyla serves as Treasurer.

Keyla’s commitment to community is what makes her an exceptional attorney. As an eight-year attorney, Keyla has been awarded numerous times for her zealous advocacy and client commitment. Keyla began her legal career as a Public Defender in Miami-Dade County where she tried over 30 cases, ranging from misdemeanors to life felonies.
